These terms govern your use of the aviramjeweller.com website and any online payments made through it, including the Digital Gold Savings Plan and Pre-book Grams facility (together, "the Service"), offered by Aviram Jeweller, with showrooms at Aul and Pattamundai, Kendrapara, Odisha.
Payments made through the "Buy Digital Gold Online" facility are an advance payment towards jewellery to be selected and collected in person at an Aviram Jeweller showroom, or redeemable back to you as money. This is not a custodial digital gold or bullion storage product — we do not hold, insure, or deliver physical gold/silver bullion to you as a standalone asset. It is a savings-and-redemption arrangement redeemable for jewellery from our in-store collection, or as a monetary refund, at your choice.
Gram estimates shown at the time of payment are indicative, based on the rate published on our website that day. The gold/silver rate, purity, weight and making charges applicable to your final jewellery purchase are confirmed in-store at the time of redemption and may differ from the estimate shown online.
You confirm that the name, phone number and email you provide are accurate and that you are authorised to make the payment using the payment method selected. We may contact you using these details to confirm or process your order.
Online payments are processed by one of our RBI-authorised third-party payment gateway partners — Razorpay or Cashfree Payments, depending on which is active at the time of your purchase. Aviram Jeweller does not collect or store your card, UPI or banking credentials — these are handled entirely by the payment gateway in accordance with applicable payment security (PCI-DSS) standards.
Placement of an order and receipt of payment does not by itself constitute our acceptance of the order — it is confirmed once you receive an order confirmation from us. In the rare event of a genuine pricing, weight, or listing error (for example, a technical glitch causing an incorrect rate to be shown), we reserve the right to cancel the affected order and issue a full refund, and will contact you before doing so wherever possible.
This website is operated in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, the Legal Metrology Act, 2009 and rules made thereunder, the BIS Hallmarking (Hallmarking of Gold and Silver Jewellery/Artefacts) requirements, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable to a jewellery e-commerce seller based in India. See the sections below on Hallmarking, Purity & Weight, Privacy, and Grievance Redressal for how each of these is met in practice.
We may update these terms from time to time; the latest version will always be available on this page, with its last-updated date shown above.

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and our Aviram Jeweller mobile app, how we use it, and your rights over it under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Information may be shared with our payment gateway (Cashfree Payments) solely to process your payment, and with our IP-geolocation provider solely to resolve an approximate city/region from your device's IP address. Some of these service providers may process data on servers located outside India in the ordinary course of providing their service; we only use providers who apply comparable data-security standards, and none of your data is sold or licensed onward for their own use.
We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (given when you submit a form, create an account, or grant a permission such as location access) or where necessary to fulfil a contract with you (such as processing an order you have placed). You may withdraw consent at any time going forward by contacting us, though this may limit our ability to provide certain services already in progress (e.g. we cannot deliver an order without a delivery address).
We retain personal data only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose it was collected: account and order records are retained for the duration of your relationship with us and thereafter as required by applicable tax, accounting and consumer-protection record-keeping laws (generally up to 8 years for financial records); enquiry and contact-form submissions are retained until resolved and for a reasonable follow-up period; app device/analytics data is retained in a form that does not identify you personally beyond what is needed to diagnose issues and improve the app. Data is deleted or anonymised once these purposes no longer apply, except where retention is legally required.
Enquiry, order and app analytics details are stored on secured servers and are accessible only to authorised Aviram Jeweller staff on a need-to-know basis. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, or loss. In the unlikely event of a personal data breach that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required under the DPDP Act.
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to: access a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is processed; request correction or completion of inaccurate or incomplete data; request erasure of your data once it is no longer needed for the purpose collected (subject to our legal retention obligations above); withdraw consent at any time; nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of your death or incapacity; and file a grievance with us, and thereafter with the Data Protection Board of India if unsatisfied with our response. To exercise any of these rights — including for app device/analytics data — contact our Grievance Officer at support@aviramjeweller.com; we aim to acknowledge requests within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.

If an amount is debited from your account but the payment is not confirmed on our website, or if you are charged more than once for the same transaction due to a technical error, please contact us at support@aviramjeweller.com or on WhatsApp with your payment reference. Verified duplicate or failed-but-debited transactions are refunded to the original payment method, generally within 7–10 business days, subject to your bank's processing timelines.
If we cancel an order on your behalf (for example, an item turns out to be unavailable), the amount you paid is refunded either as credit to your Aviram Jeweller wallet (usable instantly towards any future purchase here), or back to your original payment method (card/UPI/netbanking), at our discretion or as agreed with you. Wallet credit is instant. A refund to your original payment method is processed by our payment gateway and typically takes 5–10 business days to reflect in your account, depending on your bank — this is standard for card/UPI/netbanking refunds and outside our control once initiated. If it hasn't appeared after 10 business days, please contact us with your payment reference.
Payments made towards your Digital Gold balance can be redeemed for jewellery in-store, or paid back to you as money, at your choice. Please contact your showroom directly to redeem your balance — requests are processed on a case-by-case basis and any monetary redemption is based on the rate on the date of redemption, not the original payment rate.
Please inspect your jewellery carefully at the time of delivery or in-store handover. Once a product has been accepted, worn, or taken into your possession, any scratches, dents, breakage or other damage caused after that point is not eligible for return, refund or exchange, as jewellery is a precious, handcrafted item and its condition cannot be verified once it has left our custody.
If you notice a manufacturing defect or damage that was present at the time of delivery, please contact us within 48 hours with photographs and your order ID — such cases are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and, if verified as a defect on our part, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion. This does not cover normal wear and tear, or damage caused by misuse, accident, or handling after delivery.
Write to support@aviramjeweller.com or message us on WhatsApp with your name, payment reference/order ID, and reason for the request. Our team will respond within 2–3 business days.
This policy is provided as general guidance. For the exact terms applicable to your specific plan, please confirm with our showroom staff at the time of enrolment.
